Problema rewrite url - htaccess aruba joomla

Ciao a tutti,
ho problemi con il rewrite delle url di un sito joomla.
Allora il sito è su un dominio aruba (hosting linux).
All'interno della "/" ci sono tre directories:
1 nomesito_backupgiornaliero
2 nomesito_backupsettimanale
3 w w w.nomesito.it (all'interno della quale c'è l'intero sito)

Ho attivato su joomla le tre impostazioni SEO: Attiva URL SEF, Riscrivi URL SEF e Suffisso URLr
Ho modificato il file .htaccess seguendo vari tutorial ma controllando il sito mi ritrovo

io non uso aruba e non saprei dirti di preciso ma ti consiglierei di provare direttamente con loro perché il problema è noto e dovresti riuscire a risolvere.

Che versione di Joomla usi?

Pochi giorni fa ho installato Joomla 1.7.1 su un sito Aruba Linux con tutte le funzioni native SEO abilitate, e non ho riscontrato nessun problema, a differenza della 1.6 in cui, pur eseguendo le modifiche, venivano fuori sempre altri problemi, perchè appunto le guide fornite da Joomla contenevano tutte un errore nell'htaccess, poi fatto subito correggere.

Ciao, scusa ma sono nuovo di questo mondo. Io ho la versione 1.7.3 di joomla, in italiano, ed ho copiato il contenuto dello zip nella mia cartella ftp del sito... ma non succede nulla, ho la pagina bianca!!! Dove trovo queste funzioni native SEO da abilitare, e a cosa servono?

Ciao Malkovian. Ti conviene aprire un nuovo thread ed esporre chiaramente li.

Il CMS, una volta caricato nel tuo spazio, si installa dalla directory di installazione seguendo gli step descritti, esempio tuosito/install.

Il fatto è che non mi parte neppure l'installazione di Joomla...

Ciao, non vorrei sbagliare, ma mi pare di capire che hai installato joomla direttamente nella root, mentre devi installarla nella cartella www . nomemiosito . it. Le altre due cartelle sono appunto i backup giornaliero e settimanale, che puoi recuperare all'occorrenza.
