Tuscany present with over 10 operators

Tuscany will head the Italian delegation for the inter-regional project "Italia for Events" at Imex in Frankfurt, the trade fair dedicated to the congress sector, to be held in Frankfurt-on-Main from April 17 to 19. Our Region, leader of the project, will be present at the exposition with 10 operators co-ordinated by Toscana Promozione, who will have at their disposal 570 square metres in the national stand, together with the other 50 Italian operators.
Italia for Events is a network that comprises 17 Italian Regions which, by means of an inter-regional project co-sponsored by government, have joined forces to favour the development of the Italian congress system.
The main objective of the Italia for Events project is to promote Italy as a congress destination. Thanks to its numerous resources, Italy is already a renown tourism destination; Italia for Events presents the extremely rich range of congress locations, structures and services that Italy can offer the meeting industry: from conferences to meetings, from events to incentives.
The objectives include re-launching the sector by improving quality and developing a better strategic approach and more co-ordinated promotion and marketing policy for this important sector which, according to estimates, generates almost 30% of the entire Italian turnover for tourism.
