In sostanza, per i non anglofoni
, vJoomla è una sorta di adattamento del 1.0.12 per vBullettin. Pare che i moduli siano tutti attivabili e compatibili, senza creare alcun intoppo su vBulletin.
Forse non sarà "buona la prima", in ogni caso me ne sto con le antenne dritte perchè, avendo un sito Joomla ed uno vBullettin, per me l'occasione è ghiotta.Per voi?

Sembra interessante come integrazione, molto oltre quello che avevano fatto prima d'ora.
E' una piena integrazione, paragonabile a quella che di può avere con vbadvance ma che permette di sfruttare i moduli di joomla, quindi un bel pò più potente
Probabilmente farò dei test su uno spazio apposito.

Salve ragazzi, io sto provando a testare questa versione di joomla, ma non mi parte l'installazione, ricevo questi errori:

Non riesce a collegarsi al file global.
Se non sbaglio bisogna attivare i global, ma questo una volta partita l'installazione.
Hai già installato prima un'altra versione di joomla?
Se no, è probabile che ci sia qualche limitazione imposta dall'hosting.In ogni caso ti conviene chiedere nella sezione joomla

Joomla lo conosco abbastanza bene, non dipende da joomla, o almeno su una versione normale non ho problemi...
su quel server , prima di vbulletin, c'era installato joomla, quindi non dipende dal server...
sicuramente non ho seguito bene le istruzioni...
ho creato una directory, chiamata "sale" e ci ho inserito i file del pack vJoomla, poi ho caricato i file dentro alal cartella includes/xml del forum, dove richiesto...
e poi ho provato a far partire l'installazione, ma ricevo quell'errore...
Voi come avete fatto ?
le istruzioni sono queste:Install Instructions
- Log into your admincp
- Close your forum
- If your forums are at the root of your site move them elsewhere - the best location is probably /forum
- Upload the files from the zip packages to their respective locations. There should be no overwrites.
- Navigate to the root of your site and run the Joomla installer.
- Go back to the admincp and install the Joomla product file
- Now either copy the ./cpstyles, ./clientscript and ./images directory of the forum into the Joomla directory OR create symbolic links to those directories. The contents of the ./images directory of Joomla and vbulletin will need to be merged.

certo che sarebbe davvero LA SOLUZIONE DEFINITIVA poter creare un sito in Joomla, un forum con vb (+vbseo) ed integrare il tutto con questo componente.
se qualcuno fosse interessato a fare esperimenti, posso mettere anche io un server a disposizione (con database illimitati e tutto quello che può servire)...a patto che poi mi diate una mano per integrare con vb il mio sito fatto con joomla.
cmq mi pare un discorso da approfondire e in forum come questo non può passare in secondo piano!

Ma è tassativamente obbligatorio spostare il forum dalla ROOT o funziona anche se lo si lascia li ?

io per ora mi servo di bbpixel ed ultimamente sono diventati anche joomla betatester..certo è che un po' di battaglia tra vari programmi non può altro che far del bene a tutti noi utenti. Seguo con interesse questo thread...
