Modifiche impaginazione tema wordpress

Salve a tutti avrei dei problemi con l'impaginazione di un tema wordpress, in pratica vorrei che in home page si vedessero 4 post mentre in tutte le altre pagine (ES: pagina 2, categorie, tag, autore ect) si vedesse il numero standard impostato nelle opzioni di wordpress. Come fare? Qui il codice:
